Library Board
The Trent Lakes Public Library Board is a governance board that operates under the authority of the Ontario Public Libraries Act. The Board is responsible for providing library services and programs in Trent Lakes.
Board members, also known as library trustees, establish the policies, goals, and objectives of the library. They also advocate for the library in the greater community. The day-to-day operation of the library is the responsibility of the Library CEO and senior staff.
The Library Board consists of seven Trent Lakes residents appointed by Municipality of Trent Lakes Council for four-year terms. The Board also has one municipal representative appointed for the term.
